This is for all the women who want to slip back into their wedding dress and have some FUN!!!

Trash the Dress is the lastest up and coming trend with today's bride's. It's an excuse to get back into your dress and play!! Take it to the beach or a construction yard - it's all possible and you get great shots in return. This day isn't all about Trashing your dress either - put it on a simply feel elegant in a whole new way - walk down the beach with your husband, frolick together in the high grasses - it makes for a beautiful day together.

I had such a great response from the last contest I did for this tyope of shoot I am throwing another promo for it. For those of you interested in a few great shots - and loads of fun, get that dress out from the closet and put it on for one afternoon this summer.

Here are the details:

Option of having your spouse in on the session
All high resolution images on CD with copyright
$40.00 taxes included

This is a great opportunity to get some great shots at a fabulous price!!! The options for this shoot are endless. The beach is a fabulous venue for a variety of shots , and you can go to whichever degree of "trashing" you'd like. From sandy shots on the shore, to more intimate couple shots of you and your husband nestling in the water - right down to getting wet and wild!!! The choice is yours, and this is the time to make it.

The date set is Saturday June 26th from 1 until 7pm. I may have to do a 2 day shoot if the responses are large enough. The day will start at 1pm. Weather premitting - date will be rescheduled if it rains.

Thanks for all your support this last year. I have had a great response and things are flourishing!!!

Cloutier-Carruthers Wedding

It's been a while - I feel so out of practice!!

November 21st was a beautiful day for a wedding - Tanya and Kevin had been preparing for this upcoming day for some time. Kevin being in the farming industry only had a few select dates that he could take leave and "get hitched". It could have not been a more beautiful day.

The bride and groom did see one another before the wedding to snap a few shots before the sun set - and their little baby girl was an absolute treat to be around. The limo ride was a treat as well - and an unexpected surprise for the bride.

Congratulations to a beautiful couple - hope you had a wonde
rful time on your honeymoon. Thanks for sharing this wonderful day with me! Hope you like the preview!

Trash the Dress

OMG - I have been so excited for this shoot!!
A couple of months ago I sent out a mass email to all my clients as well as friends on facebook - with my newest contest - the first to email me their interest would win a TTD photoshoot. The response was huge!

Chantal was the first to email me with HUGE interest in this photo shoot. After a couple of reschedule appointments - thanks to good 'ol mother nature - we got a chance to get this show on the road!
I am really happy with the shots that we were able to get with the allotted time that we had - sun setting and all. Because we were unable to get to the beach - thanks to water contamination - we are setting up a time for round 2 of Chantal's TTD photo shoot - and we'll even sneak a couple of family photos in there with Chantal and Corey's beautiful daughter, Janelle (she's seriously a doll!!)

Thanks Chantal for a great shoot and I look forward to round 2 in the upcoming weeks!

PS - Thanks to Becky for being my WONDERFUL assistant - love is worth more than money - right?! LOL

Germain - Chiasson

After what has seemed like a very wet summer, ( I know Sarah was keeping all her fingers and toes crossed) Reginald and his beautiful new wife walked down the aisle on a beautiful warm sunny, surrounded by family and friends.

This day was full of emotions - especially when Reg seen his bride to be for the first time walking down the aisle - I was almost in tears!!!

A beautiful ceremony, beautiful location and beautiful couple - Congratulations to both of you and may the rest of your lives be filled with joy and laughter.
Thank you for letting me in on such a special occasion. Congratulations!!!

Wedding Specialties

A few brides have asked me what I got my husband on our wedding day - as his gift. In all honesty, I got him nothing. Wasn't I supposed to be the prize of the day!? Was this not what we were working up to - the big day? I wasn't clueless about the idea. i had received beautiful flowers that morning with a card that read "See you soon Mrs. Bolton!". Had I known about boudoir photography at the time I think this would have been the gift of ALL gifts to give him.

Boudoir photography involves creating intimate and romantic images of yourself, most commonly wearing lingerie. This has been one of the up and coming trends for toda
y's bride. This is a great gift for your husband on your wedding day or as the "paper gift" for your first anniversary.

But then again - you don't have to be getting married to have a
boudoir photo session - milestone birthdays, weight loss, other body
improvement celebrations, anniversaries and the list goes on.

Here are a few pics from Brianne's session back in April. Brianne was celebrating a birthday a few days after these photos were taken - and wanted to feel sexy about turning another year younger.

My mission is to hand you photos that you can be proud of - capturing more than the physical aspects of beauty. Thanks Brianne for a great photos session!!!

PS: If you decide to give this to your fiance on your wedding day - make sure the best man gets him down the aisle - he may have to rip the album from his hands!!!

Brabant-Racine Wedding

This couple couldn't have ordered better weather! Considering the summer we have been having Manon and Cody had a fabulous day - I am going to ask where they send their request because I have wedding the rest of August!!!

I was fortunate to be off for Manon and Cody's wedding - this was a last minute attempt to find a photographer in the area as their previous photographer had to cancel due to unfortunate circumstances ( we send our prayers and wish him all the best). I could not have asked for better people to work with - in love with one another and ready and willing to get right down and dirty for the photographs! When we headed to the Avonmore Berry farm, Manon had her shoes off and was ready to jump into the hay and land a wet one on her sweethearts cheek - who by the way was swinging on the tire swing. They sat at the kids craft table and pretended to mark ona another up with Crayola crayons, they even posed for a photos in the "cute and clean" outhouses!! The only "subtle" fall back was the tree incident..."hey lets pose in this tree" - Groomsmen - bee sting to leg, Groom - bee sting to lip, Groom hoping that now he could get out of his speech - priceless. I felt horrible!!

They, as well as the bridal party busted a move when they entered the hall, and right in the middle of the love song they had their first dance to - MC Hammer kicked in, while Cody lip synched and dance d a choreographed piece with his new bride! FABULOUS!!

Thanks again for a great day - and sorry for the bee stings!!

Looking for Model - male and female

So here's the newest thing I would like to do....A sensual (nothing rated R) scene of 2 lovers in the calm waters here in St. Andrews - along the raisin river. And yes, it will involve getting into the river.

The models would have to be 18+ as some will be topless (nothing exposed). If you are interested or know of someone who is interested in getting some awesome shots done, please have them contact me. I will also be posting this ad on sites like kijiji.ca, etc - so it will be first some first serve. The lucky person(s) will receive all the photos on CD for their use as well as the copyright to them.

REMEMBER - you don't have to be a "model" or what people would call "model material". I am looking for people who are easy going, looking to have fun while getting some great shots, and ready to be adventurous for an afternoon. This is going to be a great shoot!!!

Flaro Family

Angela and Brooks have been friends of my cousin for a long time - I remember taking photos of Brooks for his prom - we won't mention what year. Let's just say I was still a teen myself. Now happily married with baby number 2 having just arrived - it was time to take a stroll in the park and take some family pics.

A little on the cool side for little Izzy but she faired out pretty well. The photos look great and what more could you ask from little Ben!!! A little game of pic-a-boo and we got some fabulous shots while he checked out the local ducks.

Here is a sneak peak of today's shots. I have also done photos of the Flaro's for their latest pregnancy and newborn Izzy which I will post at a later date. Enjoy!!
So this is new!!

I have heard of blogspot.com over and over but never gave it a second thought - until now. What a fabulous way to show previews of photos and to gain more clients as well as some free advertising. As well, my clients and friends can see what's new and what is in the works.
