Trash the Dress

OMG - I have been so excited for this shoot!!
A couple of months ago I sent out a mass email to all my clients as well as friends on facebook - with my newest contest - the first to email me their interest would win a TTD photoshoot. The response was huge!

Chantal was the first to email me with HUGE interest in this photo shoot. After a couple of reschedule appointments - thanks to good 'ol mother nature - we got a chance to get this show on the road!
I am really happy with the shots that we were able to get with the allotted time that we had - sun setting and all. Because we were unable to get to the beach - thanks to water contamination - we are setting up a time for round 2 of Chantal's TTD photo shoot - and we'll even sneak a couple of family photos in there with Chantal and Corey's beautiful daughter, Janelle (she's seriously a doll!!)

Thanks Chantal for a great shoot and I look forward to round 2 in the upcoming weeks!

PS - Thanks to Becky for being my WONDERFUL assistant - love is worth more than money - right?! LOL

Germain - Chiasson

After what has seemed like a very wet summer, ( I know Sarah was keeping all her fingers and toes crossed) Reginald and his beautiful new wife walked down the aisle on a beautiful warm sunny, surrounded by family and friends.

This day was full of emotions - especially when Reg seen his bride to be for the first time walking down the aisle - I was almost in tears!!!

A beautiful ceremony, beautiful location and beautiful couple - Congratulations to both of you and may the rest of your lives be filled with joy and laughter.
Thank you for letting me in on such a special occasion. Congratulations!!!

Wedding Specialties

A few brides have asked me what I got my husband on our wedding day - as his gift. In all honesty, I got him nothing. Wasn't I supposed to be the prize of the day!? Was this not what we were working up to - the big day? I wasn't clueless about the idea. i had received beautiful flowers that morning with a card that read "See you soon Mrs. Bolton!". Had I known about boudoir photography at the time I think this would have been the gift of ALL gifts to give him.

Boudoir photography involves creating intimate and romantic images of yourself, most commonly wearing lingerie. This has been one of the up and coming trends for toda
y's bride. This is a great gift for your husband on your wedding day or as the "paper gift" for your first anniversary.

But then again - you don't have to be getting married to have a
boudoir photo session - milestone birthdays, weight loss, other body
improvement celebrations, anniversaries and the list goes on.

Here are a few pics from Brianne's session back in April. Brianne was celebrating a birthday a few days after these photos were taken - and wanted to feel sexy about turning another year younger.

My mission is to hand you photos that you can be proud of - capturing more than the physical aspects of beauty. Thanks Brianne for a great photos session!!!

PS: If you decide to give this to your fiance on your wedding day - make sure the best man gets him down the aisle - he may have to rip the album from his hands!!!

Brabant-Racine Wedding

This couple couldn't have ordered better weather! Considering the summer we have been having Manon and Cody had a fabulous day - I am going to ask where they send their request because I have wedding the rest of August!!!

I was fortunate to be off for Manon and Cody's wedding - this was a last minute attempt to find a photographer in the area as their previous photographer had to cancel due to unfortunate circumstances ( we send our prayers and wish him all the best). I could not have asked for better people to work with - in love with one another and ready and willing to get right down and dirty for the photographs! When we headed to the Avonmore Berry farm, Manon had her shoes off and was ready to jump into the hay and land a wet one on her sweethearts cheek - who by the way was swinging on the tire swing. They sat at the kids craft table and pretended to mark ona another up with Crayola crayons, they even posed for a photos in the "cute and clean" outhouses!! The only "subtle" fall back was the tree incident..."hey lets pose in this tree" - Groomsmen - bee sting to leg, Groom - bee sting to lip, Groom hoping that now he could get out of his speech - priceless. I felt horrible!!

They, as well as the bridal party busted a move when they entered the hall, and right in the middle of the love song they had their first dance to - MC Hammer kicked in, while Cody lip synched and dance d a choreographed piece with his new bride! FABULOUS!!

Thanks again for a great day - and sorry for the bee stings!!
